do I need a special order to do a DNA test?
 

No, you do not need a doctor's or a lawyer's order to do a DNA test. However, for the test to be legally acceptable in the Court of Law a lawyer or a GP has to be present when DNA samples are collected. They will also have a responsibility to seal the samples and deliver them to us.
