Medical Genomics determines maternity by testing 16 STR twice. The
results are
at least 99.9999% accurate when confirming maternity and
100% when disproving
it.
DNA samples for testing are obtained from buccal (mouth) swabs. This is
a non-intrusive type of DNA collection which can be performed at home,
is absolutely painless and does not take more than 1 min.
For each test we require DNA from an alleged mother and the child (DNA
from the father or another alleged mother is optional)
We offer two types of maternity tests:
the peace of mind test and
the
legally accepted test.
